our story.

uyinu began at the end of 2023, shaped by a love of yin yoga, aromatherapy and candle making.

during a quiet moment in practice, the idea arrived simply: ritual aromatherapy, the yin way.

what began as a small concept soon grew into something more, with uyinu candles finding homes through local shops and travelling from the uk to morocco, dubai and beyond.

today, every uyinu piece is designed by the founder and handmade in the uk, in our small studio. each vessel is created by hand as an object for stillness — made for your yin, for gifting and for ritual.

our materials and ingredients are chosen with care for their considered, non-toxic profile. from the coconut-soy wax and pure cotton wicks to the essential-oil-led scent blends, each element is selected to create a cleaner, more thoughtful candle ritual that can be enjoyed with confidence when used as directed.

as a woman-owned brand, uyinu returned in may 2026 with a more refined expression: refillable ritual objects, considered ingredients and a deeper commitment to calm, beauty and return.
